Can't wait!

Last year my amazing friend Hannah, fellow twin mama, and one AMAZING photographer took our family photos. I fell in LOVE with them and we decided that from then on she was our photographer for family pictures. It's SOOO much easier than having to get Chris to take them...I need his help trying to keep our girls still! Anyways I am so excited to let you guys in on a secret...ok, so it's not a secret but it is really cool!

Last year we drove to Abilene to have these pictures done and while I would drive there again...She is coming to Ft. Worth!

I am just so excited and wanted to let you know about it so you could get her to take your pictures too!

She is GREAT with kids and patient! I am telling you...she is great!

Aren't my girls so little in these pictures....makes me tear up a little!

Here is all the info if you want to join in! I know we will be there!!!!

Now all I need to do is figure out what everyone is going to wear!!!!

Twins, Twins...Part TWO

While Kristi and her girls were here we decided to take a shopping trip on Saturday but decided that we were in no hurry and just took our time getting ready.

I love these sweet faces! eating some crackers before we leave
We thought it would be fun to take the girls to Rainforest Cafe for lunch...the two moms with the fours kids. I completely thought mine would do fine...boy was I wrong. Kinley cried the whole time...wait, not cried...SCREAMED. Unless I was holding her. It will be a LONG time before we do that again.

The four kiddies at Rainforest!
After a crazy day of shopping on a Saturday, not sure what we were thinking! We left, I might mention with much more than we came with!!!! We headed home...thinking the kids would sleep the whole way home...boy were we wrong!!!! Lexyn had other ideas...We were sitting a light and she started screaming we look back and poor Lex just starts throwing up! We u-turn into a gas station to clean everything up.

Poor Lex! (Auntie Liz had to snap a few pictures)
After about two more throwing ups we were home and thinking that maybe it was a fluke! HA, then Brittyn started! It was a long night and I am sure Kristi at that point just wanted to be home. Sunday morning we just stayed home because we weren't sure what would happen next! By the afternoon everyone seemed fine and we continued to the pumpkin patch.

Girls waiting for us to get them ready! Never a dull moment with four!
When we got there we each had one kid that didn't want to be there....here is mine.

Madelyn
Kinley was much happier to be there!

Madelyn probably cried unless I was holding her until we found this tractor...She started yelling, down, down, down!!! She RAN over to the tractor and wanted on. She was less than happy when we told her she had to take turns.
On the tractor and HUGE hit with our bunch!

The two cooperative ones. Kinley and Brittyn

Nope not happy again!
Love this picture of Kinley

Sweet friends!

we got asked at least five times if they were quads!
again Kinley and Brittyn!

Maddie thinking about not crying!

sweet sisters!
I know after the pumpkin patch I started to get sad it was the end of the weekend! Crazy times but memories I know the mama's will not forget! What time isn't crazy with 4, 2 and under!?

Kristi, Lexyn and Brittyn, we are all so glad you came and missed you Ben! Sorry it was not all perfect but so glad it happened anyways! I can't wait to see you all again and hopefully not too long after the little one is here! Love you all so much!

Twins, Twins and more Twins! Part one!

Way back during our Twin mama trip we decided to try to get our twins together at the Ft. Worth zoo. We picked up a few that didn't get to go on our trip too...they better both be there next year! We missed you Britni! I also talked Ashley (one of my besties) to tag along too! Carter (her son) is the girls age and they LOVE "cartor". Kristi Brown and her two girls were down visiting us this weekend too!
Kinley and Carter sharing their ride!

Sweet Reese and Riley

Our new friend's Lizzie and Gracie

Madelyn is in LOVE with animals and really enjoyed the ones we saw.

All of the kiddoes! Let me just tell you it is interesting to go the zoo with 7 strollers that you are trying to keep together!

Ashley showing Kinley and Carter the animals!

LOVE this boy...have to stay we might be arranging a marriage!
I had been watching my friend's little newborn for the last couple weeks and she made the trip with us...yes, I know I'm crazy! Sweet little Kaia. (yes I had to add the BIG bow if you are going to roll with the Tarrant's)

Lexyn...the little monkey!

Us waiting in line to get food...Some of us were not smart and didn't pack a lunch.

My two! ( I love this picture Hannah took)

It was one of the most craziest trips to the zoo and we were all WAY tired when it was over but...WE LOVE getting to see all our friends and wished they all lived closer. I love that us twin moms have all come together because of our blogs! Part two of Kristi's visit, coming up...trust me it was a crazy weekend!

20 months and too sick to care...

Our entire house has been taken over by the stomach bug. It started with me, while driving home from our family reunion…talk about a fun trip home. I have NEVER seen Madelyn and Kinley so sick…I don’t know that I have ever seen anyone so sick. There is nothing fun about watching two babies throw up at the exact same second. You don’t know who to go to first. They just didn’t get why they were vomiting. We covered everything in sheets in our living room and pretty much just lived there. I was sick with the girls (which is super hard) because Chris was working crazy hours at a new job until he came down with it too. It got us all and we are SOOOO ready for it to be gone!

But just because we were sick doesn’t mean that I don’t want to acknowledge that the girls are 20 months old!!! WOW, I guess I have to start planning a 2nd birthday!

Kinley

(we haven’t taken the official pictures yet because we haven’t felt like it)

wears 6-9 month clothes

size 3 pampers

size 3 shoes

12 teeth

says all sorts of things

Recognizes several animals and what sound they make

counts to 3

Loves Babies, drinking out of real cups, “weeing” (swinging), her sissy (most of the time) listening to a whole book, and her blankets.

Has a new habit, she likes to rub her lip with her index finger…it’s so strange

Has to go to bed with a book

NO MORE PACI

Madelyn

wears 6-9 month

size 3 pampers

size 3 shoes

7 teeth but cutting molars finally

Vocab is exploding!!!! The child tries to say everything now (sometimes more than Kinley)

Recognizes several animals and what sound they make

Loves babies, shape sorter toys, “weeing” (swinging), giving hugs and kisses, “boo” (books) and her blanket.

NO MORE PACI

gose to bed with a book too.

I am sure there is more but I am just too tired and worn out from this week to think of it all! I hope I can get back in gear quick!!!!!!

Trip to the Lakehouse!

A few weeks ago we headed to the lakehouse with Uncle Clint and Aunt Andrea (Chris’s brother and his wife) We LOVE going there and were looking forwarded to taking the girls there, again. Last time they went they were around 9 months old. This time was much more fun. They loved the water and the boats…especially Madelyn. Everytime she saw a BOA (boat) or WAWA (water) she would get so excited!

Our view from the back porch…I would live here if I could!
